This is the formal pathway for Registration of Post-Secondary Institutions. NAECOB’s criteria, standards, and guidelines for Registration Status must be met in its entirety to achieve this.

Registration of Primary & Secondary Institutions

This is the formal pathway for Registration of Primary & Secondary Institutions. NAECOB’s criteria, standards, and guidelines for Registration Status must be met in its entirety to achieve this.

Accreditation of Primary & Secondary Institutions

This is the formal pathway for Accreditation of Primary & Secondary Institutions. NAECOB’s criteria, standards, and guidelines for Accreditation Status must be met in its entirety to achieve this.

Institutional Recognition

This is the formal pathway for Institutional Recognition for Non-Bahamian Institutions that are already Fully Accredited by an international or regional accreditation body recognized in The Bahamas. NAECOB’s criteria, standards, and guidelines for Institutional Recognition must be met in its entirety to achieve this.

Credential Evaluation

Credential evaluation is an assessment or verification of educational and/or professional qualifications. Applicants requesting evaluation of academic qualifications will receive a written report of the assessments. This report will describe each credential submitted and for each credential give the national and/or international equivalent.

 

Credential evaluation seeks to guard consumers, employers, and other relevant stakeholders from Credential Fraud.

New Programme Approval

This is the formal pathway for Programme Approval for Institutions that are already RegisteredAccredited or Recognized by NAECOB and would like to add new programme(s) to their academic offering. NAECOB’s criteria, standards, and guidelines for New Programme Approval must be met in its entirety to achieve this.
